There is saying that 95% of people hate to sell and only 5% of people love to sell. To me those are amazing numbers especially if you are in that 5%. I mean think about it, if 5% of people love to sell then 95% of people love to buy. The numbers seem to be in your favor. So, what is selling exactly? Contrary to what you may have learned or believe, selling is getting your way. It’s getting people to respond to you in a certain manner.
How to use selling to your advantage? Understand selling is persuasion. When you are at a job interview or getting your child to do something that is selling. Everyone is selling every day; the question is are you buying or are you the 5%. Once you understand this truth you need to perfect your skill. I spent thousands of dollars learning how to perfect the skill of selling. The goal here is to give you a shortcut to the answers so you can start making some money.
Practice your sells pitch. Practice turning everything you see into a presentation of 1 min or less. Once you get it down to a min practice getting it down to 45 sec then 30 sec. Drill it over and over. You see a bird fly bye try to sell a bird. This is a drill that I like to do to get better at selling.
In conclusion, you are either selling or buying. Everything that comes out of someone’s mouth is selling you an idea or product. When you talk to someone you are either selling them or not, they are either convinced or not convinced. Once you realize this you will see the world in a different light.
