We have all been in a situation where we couldn’t believe someone would do that. A position where you sat there and thought, did they really just do me like that? I want to take the time to write about a few situations myself and others I know have encountered in the credit businesses.
STORY 1 THE ORIGIN
Before I go into the story let me give you the lesson. Don’t under value your product or service. So, my partner and I always have a disagreement when it comes to pricing. He likes to set low because he wants to make it affordable for everyone. So, one day he was working on a Credit Repair for a client. They paid $150 to $300 I can’t remember the exact pricing at that time. Why’ll in the process the client agreed to settle and pay the $850 on one debt. He said no we can get this removed. After he got it removed he suggested you could just pay me a little bit extra instead. They said don’t do me like that. Lesson here if you want more charge more upfront.
STORY 2 THE PAYMENT PLAN
Every now and then we get a client that really needs our services and cannot afford it. When this happens, we put people on a payment plan. I hate the payment plan because we have so many deceitful clients that come across our table. For example, I was working on a client’s credit. Once we got to the final payment the client realized we were pretty much done with his credit. He decided not to pay the final payment. We discontinued service but so much was done, and we lost in that situation. We get this all the time. Don’t do me like that.
STORY 3 THE OPPORTUNIST
The lesson here is beware of opportunist. So, we get a lead for credit repair. I send a text message and contact the client. We were getting so many people contacting us I needed to limit the phone time. So instead of calling every single person I started creating pretyped text. I sent the lead instructions on how to sign up plus it came with a checklist. She couldn’t figure it out and wanted to talk on the phone. So, I get on the phone and we talk. I walk her through everything and then I run a credit audit. It pretty much lets me know what was going on with her credit, so I can map out a game plan. Now a few things to keep in mind before we go further we had super discounted our price $450 less for the end of the year. She wasn’t ready until after that special was up. But we still honored the discounted price. Then when I looked at her credit audit she had 20 plus negative items per credit bureau not including hard inquires. Normally those will be student loans or medical bills but not in this case. They were individual negative accounts, so I know she didn’t pay her bills. When it came time to make the payment she asked will she pay when we finish the work. Here keep in mind we offer 100% back money guarantee if you don’t see anything changing at the end of 45 days. Also, we are not charging you for credit repair. We are charging for our time and resources used in order to prepare and send everything off. With the super discounted price and the amount of work that needed done, I said no you have to pay us upfront. She passed on the deal. This my friend is an opportunist who had no intentions on paying us.
Don’t do me like that and don’t let people do you like that. People are always trying to get over and will only do what you allow them to do. Control the situation. Ill add more blogs of situations we encounter because you may be experiencing them as well.
The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.
